Summary

"Marion: The Library" began with Marion watching the carvings on the library doors morph before her eyes. A "warning" pain shot through her head as the doors slammed in her face (152). Zoey restrained her after slamming her head into the door to stop the noise. Marion realized that, because "the bone cry" led her to the doors and they resisted her, they had "something to hide" (154, 155). Grayson picked the lock, and the three entered. Marion followed the bone cry and its electric sensations to four books that, once moved, pulled the bookcase from the wall to show a hidden staircase.
