Chapter Eighteen through Chapter Twenty Summary
In Chapter Eighteen, Will manages to pull Mibs away from the homeless man, and the group enters the diner that is full of truckers and bikers, many of whom have tattoos. Mibs is immediately overwhelmed and becomes dizzy, as both Fish and Will try to hold her steady. Lill takes Mibs and Fish to a back room to lie down while she goes to work. The rest remain in the diner to eat. Lill notes that Ozzie, the manager, doesn't appear to be in as Mibs notices a report on a small TV in the back room about power outages in Salina.
