Chapter Fourteen through Chapter Seventeen Summary
Mibs asks herself in Chapter Fourteen what makes the Beaumont's special. She remembers her grandfather explaining that their talents were genetically inherited, like having brown eyes or long toes. She also recalls her mother noting that even normal people had hidden talent, but few recognized it. She begins to explain this to Will, but Fish interrupts, because they are never supposed to tell anyone of their talents except family and those who will become family.
