Becca's List
Becca’s list symbolizes her gratitude toward her parents for letting her rescue Saucy. Becca knows that she cannot repay her parents for what they have spent and will have to spend, such as replacing kitchen cabinets and living room curtains, but she appreciates it. When Becca asks to compare costs to Jammer’s hockey equipment, Becca’s parents never reply. Becca knows it is not about the money, but still wants to recognize that she knows what her parents are doing for her and Saucy.
