Summary

Chapter 12 is titled “The List.” Becca starts keeping a list of all the costs incurred because of Saucy, because she wants to make them up to her parents. Becca tries to fix what she can, such as gluing a cabinet drawer, but she is unsuccessful. Saucy shows improvement on the leash, but continues to cause damage, such as destroying the living room curtains. When Becca’s parents find out, Becca promises to make it up to them. Bailey and Grandma comment on how sunny the living room is.

Chapter 13 is titled “The Kitchen Floor.” Because Mom can hear Saucy whining during the night, Mom relents and allows Becca to sleep in the kitchen with Saucy.
