Heathers - "Sarahland"
In "Sarahland," the movie Heathers is a symbol of the narrator's feelings of alienation from her friend group and their interests and values. In the movie, the character Veronica becomes annoyed with her friends, all named Heather, because they are superficial and only interested in dating and going to parties. Sarah identifies with Veronica because, unlike her friends, she wants more from college and from life than going to bars and finding a husband.
