Chapter 10 Summary

The chain gang comes closer to Keiro and Attia. The chain gang demands food from Attia and Keiro. The chain gang attacks Keiro. Keiro demands for Attia to shoot him. Attia fires.

Jared brings Finn into a room he believes isn't bugged. Jared tells Claudia that she has always believed that Finn is Giles. Finn asks Jared if he believes what the boy claims. When Claudia enters the room, she tells them that the Queen is allowing the boy to stay in court. Finn shows the same tattoo the boy showed, but Finn's is faded.

Claudia sees a vision of her father looking down on her. Her father speaks to Jared saying that he thought he damaged the portal enough, but he underestimated Jared's prowess. The warden warns Jared not to send anything living through the portal. Jared realizes that the feathers made...
