Summary
In Chapter 15, Anna visited the Bamana High Commission in order to secure a visa to Bamana. While waiting at the embassy, she talked to other citizens. She discovered the ways the Bamana saw Kofi versus Owusu, the current president. She met a man named Ken, who was talkative and friendly. Finally she received the documents she needed. Afterwards, she met "Katherine in the new café" on their street (120). Anna gave her updates about her research and plans.
In Chapter 16, Katherine and Rose "came to say goodbye" the night before Anna's flight to Bamana (123). In the morning, Robert took Anna to the airport. On the way, Anna wondered what she was thinking, "traveling across the world without [her] husband" (126). When he offered to join her, Anna said she needed to take the trip on her own.
