Summary

In Chapter 14, Ana takes Lela to her room, which is welcoming and decorated with colorful paintings. As they talk, Lena learns several new pieces of information. She is not hungry because she is in the wrong place, so the food here is not right for her but if she does not leave in a few weeks, she likely will starve. Malachi is losing his appetite for the food and water here, which means he is almost ready to leave. A man named Takeshi trained both Malachi and Ana, but they do not seem to want to talk about what happened to him. Later, Ana and Malachi give Lena a rigorous training session on various weapons, then after Ana leaves Malachi says it is time for her to learn hand-to-hand combat.
