The Fourth Day: Worth Stealing Summary
Skeetah is trying to pry the linoleum off of the kitchen floor. He plans to use it in order to cover the floor of the basement and protect the other pups from Parvo, which he believes has gotten into the dirt of their kennel. He asks her to help him in the woods because she is a fast runner. She recalls that she barely used to see him at all before the puppies were born. Daddy comes in through the front door, and it is clear he has been on his tractor.
