Summary
In “Stop Your Women's Ears with Wax,” a woman named Mona is touring as a videographer with an all-girl punk band that has a rabid female fan base. Mona frequently films the fans lining up outside the venue hours before the show. At a concert in Liverpool, the band complains about poor sound quality, but the venue's manager is dismissive in response. She visits the manager's office after the show to return the dressing room key, but he does not answer when she knocks. Mona and the other crew members discuss the first time they heard the band's music, and all the stories feature strange events, such as a music issuing forth out of an unplugged radio. On the way to York, they discover teenage stowaways on the tour bus and kick them out. Mona begins flirting...
