Jack is teaching at a girl's school when his friend, Jay Kavanaugh calls and asks him to come to the police station. Kavanaugh is a cop, and he tells Jack that a student, Catherine Marsh, has said that she and Jack are having an affair. Jack tells Jay it isn't true, and is outraged his friend doesn't believe him. Jack goes to the Marsh's home to straighten things out, but Catherine's father, Rev. Ellidor March, punches him. A week before, Jack is teaching a class on ancient Greece. Catherine is in the class, and she asks why they have to learn about ancient wars. Jack decides to make the lesson fun and takes them to get tablecloths. The girls...
