Summary
In Chapter 10 Nora is a character of focus. Nora was distressed because she did not love Charlie like she thought she should. She stopped going to dances because the men she danced with gave her feelings she did not get with Charlie. She decided that after Theresa was settled she would run away, giving Charlie a chance to find someone who really loved him.
Things changed when Kitty told Nora and Charlie that Theresa was pregnant. Charlie agreed when Nora told him she would marry him if they could adopt Theresa’s baby.
