Summary

Agatha wants to find Ian a wife. She has been accepted to college and worries about Ian being alone. The children are growing, and soon it will be only Ian and his parents. Daphne agrees to get him together with her teacher, Arianna Pennington.

Miss Pennington is a young woman who is attractive. Daphne tells Ian that Miss Pennington wants a conference with him. Miss Pennington comes to dinner. Also at the dinner is Mr. Kitt, a vagrant that the church adopted. Each member takes turns having him to dinner. Ian has also invited a new member of the church, Sister Harriet.
