Chapters 25 and 26 Summary

In spite of not seeing Jo since their conversation, Katie doesn't know what she should say to Jo. Katie understands that Jo cares about Alex and the kids. Katie is expecting Alex later that day because his visits are like a routine now. Katie thinks about how she feels loved for the first time in years.

Katie goes to the store and tells Alex that she wants to learn how to drive, so he starts giving her lessons. She tells Alex she wants to get her license. She also admits that her real color is blonde. Katie says she's sharing more information with him because he said she could trust him and she feels like she can tell him anything. At the end of her lesson, Alex has Katie park on a downtown street so they can celebrate with a coffee...
