Jessie Keyser
Jessie is the second oldest child of the Keysers. She lives in Clifton Village in what she thinks is the year 1840. Jessie is described as being a pretty young girl. Although she likes to help her parents and does her homework, she has been known to break the rules. Jessie is thought to be one of the bravest girls in Clifton. She loves her family very much. Jessie's caring nature is seen in the way she interacts with her brothers and sisters. When Katie takes ill, Jessie carries her sister home and makes sure she gets the care she needs, before leaving to find her mother. Jessie's deep caring for her family leads her to get the courage to go through with the journey.
