Summary

Polley picks up her fourth essay by explaining to the reader how few limits she experienced as a child. She sang or mimicked all of the best Monty Python bits, even the ones completely inappropriate for her age. She was a child actor at a young age, and her parents were thrilled that she was able to audition for the part of Sally Salt, the trusty sidekick in Terry Gilliam's The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. Before she knew it, Polley got the job and traveled to Rome with her parents to begin filming. While Polley was in Rome, she felt especially welcomed as a child in Italy--much more so than in the United States. There was a reverence about children in Italy in which she basked.
