Dorothy, having bolted herself into her room two flights down from the Toymaker, gets into a shower and tries to wash him off of her. Her phone identifies the caller as someone from her priority list, but she doesn't want to talk to anyone at the moment. She towels off and takes the phone into the other room reviewing the crappy run of luck she has had lately. First Julian and then John Christie - who is as nasty a customer as they come. Work calls next and since it is ten in the evening, she answers. An urgent case review is requested and with a groan she follows the link to human resources.
