Summary

In Chapter 13, Alina and her friends decided to split into two groups. Tamar, Nadia, Adrik, David, Genya, and Misha would find lodgings in a settlement at the edge of the valley while Alina, Mal, Zoya, Harshaw, and Tolya would go into the Sikurzoi mountains to find the firebird. In two weeks' time, when the Apparat was scheduled to bring his army to Caryeva, Tamar would go to meet them there, and hopefully Alina and her group would have the firebird by then and would also meet the Apparat in Caryeva.
