The Importance of Communication

Communication is important in beginning and maintaining relationships. Vivian’s relationship with Malcolm and Malcolm’s relationship with Miles illustrate this point in Royal Holiday. It is because of a lack of communication that Vivian and Malcolm’s time together gets off to a rough start. Additionally, Vivian tells Malcolm that to repair the relationship with Miles he needs to communicate more effectively.
