Summary
In Chapter 14, the next morning, Malcolm and Vivian arrived at the airport more quickly than Malcolm wanted. He felt cheated when he had only a few seconds to say goodbye in the car. Driving away, Malcolm considered how he usually spent the free time he had in January with Miles. Without really thinking, he headed toward Sarah’s house. He sent Miles a text apologizing for how he had acted on Christmas and saying he was in the neighborhood. Miles agreed to talk to him. Malcolm wanted to let Vivian know that he had taken her advice, but it did not seem right to send her a text message.
