Summary
In Chapter 10, the next morning, Vivian was glad that she had not flown back home with Maddie. After they made love that morning, Malcolm explained to Vivian why he had been in such a bad mood the previous day. He talked about the argument with Miles and how he was not sure what to do about it. He also explained the only fun he had was planning a few surprises for Vivian, which he believed meant the surprises were more about him than her. When he started to tell Vivian what he had planned, she stopped him.
