Chapters 55-68 Summary
The Mastermind had worked a long time to secure his plan. The Mayflower Hotel on Connecticut Avenue is known to be a high end meeting place. It is the home of many corporate events and every inaugural ball since Calvin Coolidge. At this time it is being used by the MetroHartford Insurance Company. The families of its employees are scheduled to enjoy a day of sightseeing aboard a bus chartered through the Washington on Wheels touring company. While the MetroHartford employees attend the conference, their eighteen family members board the bus and start driving through residential neighborhoods towards their first destination.
