Summary

It has been 12 days since Noah first emailed Sally and a week since they first spoke on the phone. Sally is driving to Noah’s home in California. She plans to stop at a gas station before arriving at his home to freshen up, and she realizes that all of her sketches speaking out against beauty standards were likely due to how much resentment she has that they have a hold over her.
