Isaiah (IQ) Quintabe
Isaiah is the main character in the narrative. He is very intelligent and good at making deductions based on observations. At the beginning of the novel, his life suffers as he grieves the death of his brother, Marcus, even though Marcus has been dead for eight years. Isaiah does not have friends, eats alone, and takes his untrained dog with him to keep people away from him.
Isaiah begins the journey he needs to take to begin living again when he decides to solve the mystery around who killed his brother and he decides to take a case involving the half-sister of the girl Marcus dated at the time of his death.
