Dominoes

The dominoes are symbols of disaster. Annemarie compares the disasters she has suffered in her life to a row of dominoes that have fallen. She believes the first domino that fell was the riding accident that killed her horse and badly injured Annemarie. The next three dominoes fall 19 years later.
