Duncan Hatcher
Duncan Hatcher is a young, handsome and rugged homicide detective for the Savannah Police Department. To him there are no lines in the sand that he won’t step over. When Judge Cato Laird lets a vicious murderer walk on a lame technicality, Hatcher loses it and accuses the judge of incompetency. The incident lands him in jail for a few days for contempt of court. The judge’s house is the scene of a murder a few days later. Duncan is in charge of the murder and learns that Elise Laird shot and killed an intruder.
