Chapters 33 and 34 Summary
Chapter 33. Mimi is in her hotel in Rio. She thinks about the history of the Blue Bloods who colonized the nation centuries ago as she heads to the pool. When the pool boy looks at Mimi admiringly, Mimi thinks about taking him as a familiar.
Chapter 34. Bliss and her family are in Rio. Bliss and her sister go to the beach. Bliss tries to call Dylan several times, but he doesn't return her calls, which is odd because they've been keeping in constant contact. When Bliss calls the rehab center, they tell her Forsyth checked Dylan out. Bliss has a white-out and her eyes turn blue. Jordan, Bliss's sister, apologizes to Bliss, telling Bliss that she didn't have a choice and that she thinks of Bliss as her real sister.
