Chapters 13 and 14 Summary

Chapter 13. Jack and Schuyler meet in an apartment in the building upstairs from the club. Schuyler and Jack have been sneaking around to be together for the past two weeks. It is against the rules for them to be together because Mimi and Jack are supposed to be bonded. Schuyler remembers back to her first day living in the Force house and when she met Jack. They had an instant connection and he slips her a book by her favorite author with a key in it—a key to the secret apartment where they meet. Mimi takes an instant dislike to Schuyler.
