Chapter Three, Part 33-36 Summary
Harry is confused by the emotion he felt from his visit with his mother. He isn't sure what to think of her taking the diet pills or seeing her happy. The entire visit is too much for him to process and takes his next hit to make it all go away. Marion and Harry indulge in their heroin habit at least twice a day, while using marijuana and pills in between. They dream more and pay attention to their coffee house plans less.
Tyrone continues to purchase the heroin potent enough to cut several times for sale. Their safety deposit box is almost full and they have their street guys doing most of the work. They are no longer worried about dipping into their heroin stash for themselves and have begun to do so more regularly.
