Chapter Three, Part 28 Summary
Sara waits in the doctor's office to discuss the weight she hopes to lose. After a brief checkup the doctor tells her that the nurse will give her a pill regimen. Armed with her new pills, Sara enjoys her usual delicacies but she starts getting carried away with her coffee consumption. She ignores it, only thinking about how her loss of appetite is a miracle and continues her pill and coffee routine. Sara starts cleaning nonstop and feels like she has boundless energy. She enjoys her triumph over her refrigerator and takes her dinner pill with coffee. She feels a strong sensation in her stomach but dismisses it. She blames the coffee and decides to cut down the following day.
