Chapter Three, Part 27 Summary
Harry waits for at Tyrone's apartment and gets comfortable with the radio, cigarettes and marijuana and his mind drifts off as he listens to music. He imagines how his life will be once they have sold the entire stash of heroin and are wealthy. He daydreams about their last large heroin purchase before they retire from the business. As "Harry Goldfarb, one of the big drug distributors in the city..." he carries $75,000 in a briefcase and to make the first exchange at Kennedy Airport followed by another at Macy's department store. Harry enjoys his daydream until Tyrone comes in with their purchase from Brody. They try some of the drugs in order to determine how to cut it, again making a pact not to get strung out in their efforts to get rich.
