Chapter Three, Part 25-26 Summary
Harry and Tyrone receive their paychecks, cash them at a local bar and have one drink before getting started on their plan. Tyrone stops at a pay phone and calls Brody who informs them that they will need another hundred dollars to purchase the amount of heroin they want. They borrow the money from Marion who cashes one of her investment checks to get it. Tyrone meets with Brody while Harry buys the supplies they will need; glassine bags and milk sugar.
Sara enjoys a bagel smothered in cream cheese while mocking the refrigerator about it. She tells her old enemy that she will eat another one of her favorites, herring, for lunch. The bagel is followed by a cheese danish as Sara makes more jokes feeling triumphant over the fridge now that she can eat freely...
