Chapter Three, Part 3 Summary
Harry walks Marion to her apartment still high and light from the marijuana and the uppers. Along the way they pass a couple who are both intoxicated and the woman squats and urinates on the sidewalk. When the couple loses their balance and falls into the urine Harry's response to the drunken scene is "juice heads are too much, aren't they? They really have no class, no class at all."
At Marion's apartment they talk for a while about Marion's relationship with her parents. She despises their pretentious nature, disgusted with their financial support for causes they don't believe in. Despite Marion's incessant talking, the attraction is evident for both of them and they have sex before falling into a deep sleep.
