Summary
Alex is not displeased to see the positive coverage his and Henry's purported friendship is receiving in the media. Taking time from his classes, Alex goes to visit Rafael Luna, a friend, mentor, and his father's protege who is an Independent Senator from Colorado. Having worked on his campaign as a gay nominee for the Senate, Alex looks up to Rafael. Due spending his parents’ Congressional tenure interacting with and gleaning information from people in the Congressional buildings, including his mom's time as Speaker of the House and his father's tenure as Senator, Alex feels comfortable in the political surroundings. He has political ambitions of his own, passionate about helping people and wanting to be in Congress at a young age.
