Point of View
The novel’s narration is written in the past tense and the first person. Brady is the sole narrator and point-of-view character. As a result, the entire story is filtered directly through Brady’s perspective. Brady’s perspective is critical, as the story hinges upon his thought processes and decisions after he discovers the truth of Ben’s death.
