Summary

In Chapter 12, Brady receives an e-mail from Mrs. DiAngelo (whose first name is Gina). Gina says that she is grateful for Brady’s offer to help her around the house. She offers to pay him if he helps to maintain the yard around the house. Brady does not want to accept money from Gina, but she insists. Brady recalls the time that the DiAngelos invited his family to their house for dinner. They all got along very well. Ben showed his pet hamster ‘Tiny Tim’ to Brady. When Brady arrives at Gina’s house, he sees that she is still deep in grief about Ben. She asks Brady to have tiny Tim, and Brady accepts, since she is not emotionally equipped to taking care of the hamster. She is also unable to bring herself to enter Ben’s bedroom.
