Summary

In Chapter 12, Brittany and Eliza console Lux, who is in shock. Meanwhile, Nico and Ammo kneel near the skull and speculate how long it had been left on the island. Lux can see that her boyfriend is delighted by the discover and disturbed when he says he wants to take it to keep on the Susannah. Jake convinces Nico that it is bad luck to keep the skull and he concedes. Later, Lux is still shaken by finding the human remains but more upset that Nico, once again, did not seem at all concerned that she was upset and scared.
