Chapter Seven: Humiliation at Snappy Dragon! Summary
In her interview for Ruby's film, Meghan defines love as a feeling like listening to music or watching a ballet where the beauty consumes you. A frustrated Ruby admits that the love she feels for Noel doesn't feel that way, leaving Meghan to question whether Ruby's feeling is love after all. To keep her mind off Noel, Ruby arranges a going-away party for Hutch, who is leaving to study abroad in Paris for a semester. She invites Meghan, her parents, and Noel to dinner at the Snappy Dragon Chinese Restaurant and then for white chocolate cake at a nearby bakery.
