Summary

In Chapter 16, Brock and Deb pay a visit to Yancy to make an offer to buy his house. Yancy refuses even though Deb threatens him. From the conversation, Yancy can tell that the men who took the ring did not give it back to them. Before they leave, he advises them to reevaluate their relationship. Merry returns after they leave and Yancy admits to himself that he has started to imagine what it would be like to sleep with her, even though he knows that it would be bad judgement to do so.

Later, the two go to the boat dock where Yancy learns about the boat, The Wet Nurse. They find the boat, but the man who took them to it will not allow Yancy to board it. Merry notices that the boat is sinking. Their guide calls the coast guard. Yancy...
