The sea was clearing of vessels due to the hurricane when the hurricane warnings were issued. The hurricane is a powerful one. They also find that the Titanic and rescue fleet are in the hurricane's projected path. They rush to notify NUMA. The salvage team's weatherman was also checking his data and finding that it indicated a powerful hurricane that they were in the path of. He rushes to tell Pitt.
Two Navy salvage tugs arrive and their captains meet with Dirk and the others. They discuss the weather situation. Sandecker tells the tug captains they should get themselves out of the area.
