Chapter 33, The Games Begin Summary
Chavez and his team arrive in Sydney and are met by Leftenant Wilkerson of the Australian Secret Air Service. The games are scheduled to start the next day. Wilkerson mentions that a private company, Global Security, run by Bill Henriksen, is part of the security team. Noonan knows Henriksen and refers to him as a tree hugger. Noonan fills Wilkerson in on the new device, the "Tricoder" that can locate humans by detecting the electrical fields that exist around human hearts. Popov runs into Kirk at the compound, turning the conversation to the Project. Kirk intimates that a perfect world would call for the elimination of some people. Kirk admits that there are some very nasty parts to the project but to make a perfect omelet you have to break a few eggs. Popov remembers those words...
