Chapter 28, Broad Daylight Summary
Since Popov knows the time and location of the impending incident, he plans to take his rented car nearby to observe. He toys with the idea of alerting Clark about the attack. That would assure the plot's failure and he could then transfer the $6 million to himself and disappear. Popov thinks better of it since he doesn't want an angry bunch of IRA gunmen after him in the event they happen to succeed. Popov parks on the hilltop that overlooks the hospital.
