Wallet

Kyle loses his wallet early in the trip with two hundred dollars inside it. This makes Kyle unable to drive due to the loss of his license and leaves the boys short on their budgeted funds. The wallet is later found under the front car seat.

Souvenirs

Kyle and Jason fight over whether or not Jason should be allowed some money to buy souvenirs in Roswell. Kyle gives Jason the remaining cash out of anger, then worries that there will be no money left to get home.

Cellphone

Nelson brings his cellphone so the boys can stay in contact with their families. However, Nelson accidentally drops the phone into the toilet, ruining it.
