Chapters 7-12 Summary
In Chapter 7, the other kids on the bus get out excitedly when they arrive at camp, which was an old army base. The seniors take their time. Everything looks familiar, and although they groan about the upcoming tough training, Matt knows they are all happy. Ramp assigns everyone to their quarters, and Matt notices that Chris looks a little lost in spite of the cocky expression on his face. He doesn't know anyone. Ramp tells him to caddy for two other players, telling him that freshman always carry the seniors bags on the first night. Chris points out that he's not a freshman, and Matt intervenes by grabbing his own bags.
Matt remembers what it was like when he first came to camp. He wasn't comfortable with the proximity and lack of privacy. However, by his second summer everything was completely...
