Summary

Part Three, “Bullet” opens in the second half of autumn term as Frances falls into a deep depression when Aled refuses to answer any of her messages. Her character is written out of Universe City, and she struggles to tell their followers the truth. When she turns 18, she says she does not feel any different.

Then in “School Frances,” she struggles to connect with her friends, believing that they only see her as boring studious school Frances. Raine, however, cheers her up by telling her that it is not her fault that Aled did not value their friendship in the same way Frances did. While she still blames herself, Frances is grateful to have someone on her side.
