Summary

“Summer Term” (B) opens with “Aled Last in My Bed” after Frances takes a very drunk Aled to her home because he left his keys with Daniel and is afraid of his mother. He falls asleep, but Frances thinks about Carys who once slept beside her too.

Frances wakes up in “I Know, Right” and tells her mother what happened the night before, including Aled’s identity as the narrator of “Universe City.”

In “Weird,” Frances finds Aled awake and terrified in her room and reassures him that nothing happened between them. After a very awkward conversation, Frances says he told her about “Universe City,” and Aled is surprised when she calls his story brilliant. However, she does not tell him about Toulouse because she is terrified that he would be creeped out by all the work she has done for...
