The Corbetts live in New York State, within the United States of America. Several locations within the state are referenced throughout the play. They live in Larchmont, Howie works in New York City, Becca takes a continuing education class in Bronxville, and Howie is seen having dinner with another woman in New Rochelle. The geographical differentiation of these locations is relevant to the story.
