Summary

Chapter 27 was written from Charley's viewpoint in the third person limited point of view. She, Miss Honey, and Blue woke Micah up on her birthday with a surprise birthday breakfast. Micah was not expecting to celebrate her birthday until the weekend, but Charley wanted to do something to celebrate on her actual birthday. Blue gave her Zach. Miss Honey gave her a new Bible engraved with her name. Charley gave her a better camera. Violet stopped by with doughnuts.
