Eben Alexander III
Eben Alexander III is the author, main character, and narrator of Proof of Heaven. He is a neurosurgeon who has trained and worked at many prestigious institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital, Duke University Medical School, and Harvard Medical School. He devoted his life to science and felt that this was his life's calling. At the same time, he has also always been devoted to his wife, Holley, and two children, Eben IV and Bond.
